I’m a DPhil researcher in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, working on scalable AI systems.
Contact MeI’m a first-generation graduate from Las Cruces, New Mexico, with a background in electrical engineering and computer science. My work brings together networks, memory, and distributed computing.
At NMSU, I founded the Google Developer Student Club and grew it to more than 120 members through workshops, hackathons, and talks.
My research sits at the intersection of computer architecture, networking, and distributed systems.
Exploring how the networks connecting accelerators shape communication efficiency and large-scale AI performance.
Investigating how computation within the network can support distributed workloads and reduce communication overhead.
Studying memory architectures that support scalable, high-performance AI systems.
At NMSU, I worked on patient-condition classification and language models for sentiment and topic analysis. In 2023, I presented a poster on suicide prevention and social-media sentiment analysis at the S-STEM Scholars Meeting in Washington, D.C.
Research, hardware, and software—connected by a hands-on approach to engineering.
AI system design, scalable interconnects, in-network computing, and distributed memory. First-year engineering demonstrator.
Built analysis and simulation software, signal-processing pipelines, and engineering integration tools. Led cross-functional planning as Scrum Master.
Developed automated repository-mirroring and CI/CD workflows using GitLab, Jenkins, and REST APIs.
Led a cloud-based battery simulation platform using AWS, React, Flask, and PyBaMM for real-time analysis.
Built and tested Spring Boot services, GraphQL APIs, and database-backed applications using TDD, JUnit, and Mockito.
Developed classification and NLP pipelines using TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and BERT.
Developed synthetic training data and contributed to research collaboration proposals and technical presentations.
Implemented a 1024-point FFT on the RB5 CPU/DSP and built efficient telemetry transfer with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
Designed RF and power-system schematics, validated hardware, and supported component selection and lifecycle documentation.
